Ferrous thio-orthophosphite, Fe3(PS3)2
Ferrous thio-orthophosphite, Fe3(PS3)2 is prepared by heating a mixture of ferrous sulphide, sulphur, and red phosphorus. It crystallises in black, hexagonal laminae which are very stable, resisting markedly the action of acids and alkalies.
