Calcium ammonium ferrocyanide, (NH4)2CaFe(CN)6

Calcium ammonium ferrocyanide, (NH4)2CaFe(CN)6, results on mixing cold concentrated solutions of calcium chloride and ammonium ferrocyanide, in equimolecular proportions, washing the precipitate and drying in air or at 100° C. It also results on boiling potassium calcium ferrocyanide with water containing a large excess of ammonium chloride.

One part of the salt dissolves in 388 parts of water at 15° to 17° C.
